Nancy Grote, research associate professor, retired Oct. 1, 2016, but faculty, students and staff will likely see her on campus during the coming months as she works on state and local research projects and consults on several federal grants. A retirement party to celebrate her long career and accomplishments is being planned; date to be announced.

Share the holiday warmth with donations of new clothing

The undergraduate Organization of Student Social Workers is supporting the 18th Annual RAYS Holiday Festival that provides a hot meal and carnival atmosphere for more than 300 children and their families, living in poverty or suffering the impact of illness or trauma. This annual event is sponsored by the Renton Area Youth and Family Services and takes place at Renton High School.
