“This recognition showcases our School’s impact and excellence in research,” said Eddie Uehara, Ballmer Endowed Dean, School of Social Work. “We are proud to celebrate this global confirmation of our scholars’ outstanding achievements.”

The School researchers recognized in the study are:

  • Richard Catalano, Professor Emeritus
  • Dan Goldhaber, Affiliate Research Professor
  • Karen Fredriksen-Goldsen, Professor
  • J. David Hawkins, Professor Emeritus
  • Rona L. Levy, Associate Dean for Research
  • Marcia K. Meyers, Professor Emerita

The study, created by Stanford University in cooperation with Elsevier’s Scopus, an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, collects data on scientists worldwide working in 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields. The report documents how many times a researcher's work is referenced in another scientific publication, along with other data points.
