social work students

Social Work Cambodia, a month-long seminar abroad, is a partnership between the UW School of Social Work and the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) Department of Social Work in Cambodia. It's an innovative study-abroad program, which brings together UW and RUPP students to share in peer-to-peer instruction, together conduct a week long community service learning effort, and collaborate on a project with a field learning partner.Participating students learn about Cambodia's history, the impact of the genocide on different issues including land distribution, and other current social justice topics.

The course will be offered Term A, Summer Quarter 2017. Application and information site. Application deadline is December 19. Contact Tracy Harachi for more information.
