Distinguished Alumni Veteran

Social Work grad Michael T. Kilmer (MSW ’04) received the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award from the UW Alumni Association for his leadership and impact at the VA to improve outcomes for veterans.


Bonderman fellow named

Katt Purington (MSW ’23. BASW ’22) is one of eight UW students to receive the prestigious 2023 Bonderman Travel Fellowship. The $23,000 award will fund independent travel for up to eight months to inspire personal transformation and growth.
